There are two very strong threads to le poulet terrible's vision:
theatre and film as the medium by which we broaden our experience of each other's humanity, and the theatrical event as a forum in which we connect by having fun together.
Our brief is simple: To work with writing we love and produce a movable feast of outstanding entertainment which is by turns challenging, provoking, hilarious, outrageous, gorgeous, sumptuous, thrilling, disturbing, tasteless, tasteful, thoughtful, stimulating......... |

A group of friends were hunting for a company name under which to produce Moliere's Tartuffe. Something that Moliere himself might have approved of. A name implying irreverence, lack of pretention and humour. le poulet terrible was born and although Alice produced several projects under the wing of the terrible chicken it was not until several years later she and Matthew decided to re-launch the company. |
